1985 Ford Bronco overheating after chang thermostat

We changed the thermostat as well as the temp sensor still over heats I think I have an air lock in the engine do not know how to gwt it out

Take radiator cap off then start engine. Let engine warm up to operating temp. Then shut off. Refill coolant and let engine cool down. Repeat process as necessary. This will bleed the coolant system.
