1995 Ford Aspire Running w/o power

My car, at times runs in a way that it looks as if it has no powere. Then other times it runs great. I have noticed when the weather is hot and muggy, the car runs w/o powere. When the weather is a little cooler, or humidity is low, it runs fine. I was thinking the oxygen sensor. What do you think? I would also like to note that when the car runs w/o power, the "check engine" light comes on.

Try to scan your engine when the check engine light comes on. You could go to an autoparts and loan a scanner for free, with the no. Code is gonna be 95% easier to find your problem. Ps using the scanner is pretty easy just follow the question and your gonna be set.
