Brandon,

Did you ever figure out what it was? I am looking to buy a 96' Aspire that has this problem, but if it is something major, I will probably pass on it.

Thanks,

Steven

This is old, but I need to bring this to light. I replaced the 10a fuse with a 15a and it blew. Put a 20 in and its running. I have been told its because the fuel pump is going out. It requires more current to run because of the pump going out, which is causing the fuse to blow. I drive very little, but we left the car run for a half hour while sitting and checked for burns and smells (under the dash and in the bay) but found nothing wrong. I can say there havent been any problems after about 30 miles. The fuel pump is requiring more current to do its job. I have been told 9/10 times its the fuel pump. I dont condone running with a higher fuse, that is my personal choice.
