What is the best way to remove the front axle shaft assembly from the drivers side? Changed the one on the passenger side, had to take alot apart, could not get by spring, any suggestions?

HALF-SHAFT ASSEMBLY Removal 1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove front wheels. Remove hub nut and washer. Discard hub nut. Mark differential inner axle shaft flange-to-half-shaft flange position for installation reference. Disconnect half-shaft from inner axle shaft flange and wire aside. 2. Remove lower shock absorber bolts. Position shock aside. Remove rubber jounce bumper. To prevent rotor from turning, insert steel rod into rotor vent slot and rotate counterclockwise until rod contacts steering knuckle. Remove and discard hub nut and washer. Using Front Hub Remover/Installer (T81P-1104-C and T81P-1104-A ) and Hub Adapters (T83P-1104-BH1 and T86P-1104-A1 ), separate outer CV joint stub axle shaft from hub and rotor assembly. Remove half-shaft assembly from vehicle.
CAUTION: DO NOT allow half-shaft to hang unsupported; damage to outboard CV joint may occur. Once half-shaft(s) has been removed, DO NOT allow vehicle weight to be supported by hub bearing.
