My 1995 Ford Aerostar van's battery loses its powr daily and has to be recharged, the alternator is good. I suspect something is staying on adjacent to the fuse box because I hear a sound in that area. Can you tell me what my problem is?

How old is your battery?Sometimes batteries lose power on there own over night without anything juicing it. But then again sometimes it is that something stays on or short. Get a power tester the kind that have a nail looking front and a light on top with a wire and a clip on the end. Recharge batt then close all doors and anything that has power like hood light etc disconnect, nothing needs to be on then connect clip on ground somewhere on engine and whith the nail front touch the negative post on battery and you should not have light on the tester maybe just a tiny bit but not alot. If tester lights up some what stronger then that means something is staying on or have a short. You gotta wait a little bit when testing the negative keep it on post for a while checking light.I would charge the batt and take it to a autozone and get it checked first. Good luck
