Hello. Just last week my alternator was going bad to the point where my battery went dead while I was driving to the auto part store to pick up a new alternator. Just before the battery died the vans dash went on and off. Thats when I started having problems with the transmission. It worked fine in overdrive but but in all other gears including nuatral the van would act if I had my foot on the brake peddle. The trans fluid level is correct. I even put a new trans modulator valve on it. Im running out of options can you please help thanks.

Has the check engine light come on?

The check engine light is not on. But the abs @ brake lights goes on for a little while and then goes out.
I even dropped the trans pan to check for any debris and found nothing. Its strange how a trans went from working perfectly with no slipping ever. To slipping accept in overdrive.

It happens. However, I would still have the computer scanned to see if there are any codes. Also, since it only happens in OD, something tells me that it is a sensor or something with the torque converter.
