My van was doing just fine, then I did a routine fuel filter change and now it seems to stutter. It idles fine, when I am leaving the parking lot without giving it gas it seems to run a bit rough. Mellows out when accelerate, and then gets a heavier stutter around 45-70. I don't see or smell gas. I reset the inertia switch. I did add injector cleaner and a full tank of gas. I've only put about 50 miles on it since. I'm thinking a leak somewhere, what do you think? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi:
I would think you would smell fuel if there was a leak. Have you checked for vacuum leaks? Has the check engine light come on? Have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Here is a how to for checking fuel pump pressure. You will need a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend or rent them to you and then return the money when you return the part. Check pressure and let me know what you find.

Thanks Joe, I'll go to the parts store tomorrow and rent one. Engine light, no. I'll ask the store about vacuum testing as well. That's where I was heading when I thought a leak. Not fuel but vacuum leak. Thanks again I let you know tomorrow.
