I had to replace my clutch in my vehicle. While replacing the clutch it was advised the type of place to flywheel. This is where my conundrum comes into play. The technician brought a flywheel on eBay. AMS 167 545 which has 127 teeth. Apparently, this is for a 2012 model. So unfortunately, my starter obviously isn't able to crank that flywheel. Ideally what I'm trying to do is purchase a 2012 starter and as far as I could tell the fitment should be the same. However, there are so many variations of the 2012 starter I'm stuck. I tried obviously two kinds of starters but unfortunately, they both have eight teeth the original and I purchased mando one. I noticed on RockAuto it labels the AMS 167545 under the 2012 Kia Rio 1.6 but it says from 06/2012. So God willingly I could use a different starter instead of having to rip the transmission apart and change the flywheel. My car obviously since the 2011 doesn't have to start stop option. But when I look at starters from 2012 I see eight teeth, nine teeth, and even 10 teeth. Please if you have any suggestions I'm literally I will be in your debt you don't even know I don't need money to your favorite charity I purchase a star in your name. Anything you could do would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much
