Hi,

I have to move the vehicle listed above. Roll, push without ignition- battery.

When in neutral and jacked all the wheels spin except on driver's side. They say to put transfer case in neutral. It's in 2WD now. I was told never to move transfer case gear when not moving. Seems hard to move when not in motion.

How to get the drivers side front wheel to spin with the other wheels?
have to tow vehicle once out of confined space.

Good morning,

Due to your situation. You need to put the transfer case in neutral. Rock the Jeep back and forth while you are trying to shift it to neutral. That should be enough to move the selector.

Okay thanks. Just to confirm, that will make the wheels spin freely (transfer case in Neutral and Manual transmission in neutral), correct?

Hi again,

Tried transfer case in neutral (must have found it because it moves to all sides) and manual transmission in neutral. Front wheel drivers side does not budge. Hand brake is not engaged. Something with the brake?

Correct. You could have an issue with the brake hose or the wheel cylinder or caliper if you have disc brakes.
