Flashing D light

I noticed since of late that the D lights keep flashing. I took it to a auto shop and was told it could be that it needs a transmission flush. This was done and the light disappears, for a short time. It is now back again and I am sure that flush may have not been needed. How else can I proceed with this? Was doing some readings and I am seeing it could even a sensor or something of that sort. Please assist.

These cars had a big problem with the shaft speed sensors which make the D light flash, to be sure you will need to read the codes here is a guide to help you:
