I've removed the A/C, radiator, oil cooler, and the bumper front clip and core support, so far that's where I'm at. Should I pull the transmission too or how should I go about this? I got a hoist but I'm not sure where to hook it or what all to remove etc. I just need a hand I'm not new to mechanic work just never done anything this major. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

Yep, we can help you, I would remove the bolts to the torque converter and bellhousing so the engine can be removed separately. Connecting the engine to the sling or chain needs to be correct to avoid an accident. Here is a video to help walk you through the steps, the vehicle is different, but the process is the same.

Here are the instructions for your truck to help clear up any questions you may have. It looks like you can attach engine hooks to the intake manifold. If you get stuck upload a short video or an images, so I can help walk you through the removal. Check out the images (below). Please let us know how it goes.

Okay, I have to do this in my spare time when I'm home from work, but this is where I'm at. I've taken everything off the old one I need to put on the new one but I'm here now. Is there a seal or gasket going on the back of trans or front of TC, and what is that thing on the bottom of motor I sent a pic of? Coolant poured out of it on the old one and on the new motor it's broke. When it was delivered it was delivered on 2 busted pallets with 4 plugs broken and whatever that thing is on one side. Below average delivery for sure but I bought it as is and the be wife signed for it so what can you do, right? Anyway, I appreciate the help so far.

Thanks for the images. It looks like the engine is out of a newer car so it has a knock sensor which if your old engine should have?

DEXRON-III Automatic Transmission Fluid

4L60E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Drain and Refill. 4.7 liters (5.0 quarts)
Complete Overhaul. 10.6 liters (11.0 quarts)

4L80E AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
Drain and Refill. 7.3 liters (7.7 quarts)
Complete Overhaul. 12.8 liters (13.5 quarts)

Transfer case.

New Venture Gear. 2.13 Liters (2.25 Quarts)

They should have a gasket for the transmission and transfer case sealing surface, but I have seen people use RTV. Let me know how it goes please.

Yep, that is off, can you upload an image of the transmission connection to the engine, both sides? How are the engine mounts?

Of engine mounts appear to be fine I'll snap pictures of both sides of the transmission and see if I can get pictures of the motor mounts as well for you.

You can sort of see I got the trans flush and got the bars from the motor to trans on all that is good. Could I have maybe put the motor mounts on the wrong side or something?

So, I take it you have no idea either. Great! So now what do I do? Always something. If ever it was easy, I'd fall over from shock.

Sorry, I was out yesterday. Yes, the problem will be with the engine mounts. There is no other reason for the transmission mount to be that far off. Unless the vehicle has been in a serious accident.

They don't tell us which bracket goes on which side, but can I ask if the transmission mount lines up now? There is no need to worry about the strut mounts unless the mount is lined up.

Okay, I got the transmission mount figured out got the motor transmission transfer case drive shafts all that put back together. I'll upload pictures here shortly, but while I was at work people messing around someone has confiscated my battery terminals the part that goes from the battery to the starter to the alternator the ground that whole section right there that whole piece is gone. So, I need schematics to figure out where and what all hooks to that if you guys can do that, please.
