I bought the van used and prior owner made the fan run by attaching the blower motor directly to the battery with two wire leads. We would like to repair this correctly. I bought a relay at O'Reilly but cant find the old one under there! This is a 91 so there's no shiny new plastic parts anywhere. I cant find the underhood fuse panel, if there is one?

Hello, I was able to find the oem Ford wiring for the blower motor circuit. So I will post that next with the service info, as for the location of the fuse box in the engine compartment, if I remember correctly there is one on the driver side down under the Brake master cylinder area, very difficult to get to. The PCM might even be on top of it, look down in that area with a flashlight. Ill check service info for that as well.

The first 4 diagrams are locations of components, the 5th diagram is the wiring for the Blower Motor, Relay, Fuse, etc. Apparently there is no fuse box in the engine compartment, that must have been a different year. The fuse panel is location under the dash, the blower motor relay is in a very strange location as you can see. You will have to identify it by the wire colors, since the circuit has be altered so much, you really need pay attention to the two power wires coming into the relay, Yellow wire and a Yellow/Red wire. Those two should be your power feeds, if you need any help at all with this diagram just ask, we're glad to help the whole way if needed.
