Shut off while driving and will not start

While driving the car made a screeching noise and shut off engine. Stopped and put car in park. White smoke came from under the hood and stopped quickly after ten seconds. Tried to start car but brake pedal was locked. Radio and all turned on fine. There were not indication lights of a warning. Car is a push button start car.

Please remove the serpentine belt and try to start the car. It sounds like an accessory has locked up here is a guide to help you remove the belt and diagrams below to show you how to remove the belt on your car:
