P0100 error came on one day so I decided to take it out and clean it with some CRC MAF cleaner. After putting it back in, the error went away along with the acceleration lag that I was experiencing before. However, 2 days later, error comes back on, and acceleration is lagging/hesitating again.

The car lsited above has a K&N Cold Air Intake installed. It was installed about 3 months ago and everything was fine.

Edit: unplugging and re-plugging the sensor seems to be a short temporary fix?

Hi,

Is the connector in good condition as well as the wiring to it? If it is working properly for a while after you disconnect and reconnect it, that would be my first suspect.

I attached diagnostics below specific to the code and your vehicle. Take a look through them and let me know if you are comfortable performing them.

Take care,

Joe
