Fan clutch

About a month ago I replaced my water pump, fan clutch and belt due to the water pump going bad, since then the fan spins with the engine and seems to not disengage at any point or slow down. It makes a lot of noise and gets louder when I accelerate. Could the new fan clutch be bad? I also changed the engine coolant sensor and throttle body.

Hello,

Since the issue started after the replacement, it is likely a bad clutch that is staying engaged. It probably has a bad coil inside the clutch.
When you say it makes a lot of noise, is it just the noise of the fan spinning or does it sound like something else?

The noise is definitely from the fan, it sounds like a massive amount of air moving and it gets louder the more gas I give it.

That makes sense. The clutch is just staying engage and creating the extra noise.

Okay, so, I went out this morning and got a new fan clutch, truck is running great now. Thanks for all the help and info guys.
