My car all of a sudden lost the headlights and other body lights. Tested the fuse box and the light fuse appears okay, swapped out anyway. But the test lamp shows no current coming in or out. Checked the dimmer switch on floor, no current. Checked the column switch and no current. Stumped.

Hi,

Because of the model year, I have no wiring schematics to reference. However, I will try to help.

In most cases, there is a different fuse that supplies power to several fuses. I'm not certain that is the case with this vehicle. If it isn't, I would disconnect the battery and remove the fuse panel to see if there is evidence of a problem under it specific to the fuse in question.

Let me know if you are comfortable doing that.

Take care,

Joe
