Extremely high oil pressure

Oil pressure is extremely high in vehicle and went to check oil level and pulled dipstick out and oil sprayed out in a short burst. Oil pressure gauge on the dashboard is on a scale of one to three and the needle is at three and after driving it for thirty to forty five minutes, I turned the engine off and small amounts of smoke start to exit the engine.

Hello,

It sounds like the engine is over filled with oil, can you check the level and drain some out if there is too much in there?

Please let us know what happens, we are interested to see what it is.

Oil levels was actually lower than half up according to the dip stick, it was about one third the way up from the min line and two thirds down from the max line
