Hi,
I drove the car from work like I usually do everyday and it was fine no noise no nothing. This morning when I tried to drive back to work it was fine for 0.5 miles then suddenly it felt like something was hitting the ground as I was in my local road I parked it on the side.
What is the easiest fix for this?

Kind Regards.

Hello,

It sounds like one or more of your vehicle's exhaust hangers might have failed. Along your vehicle's exhaust system there are hooks that attach to rubber hangers. The hangers are then attached to hooks that are attached to the underside of your vehicle. This allows your exhaust system to be supported under your vehicle, but also allows it to move with bumps and road vibration. If one or more of these hangers fail, it will allow your vehicle's exhaust to drag on the ground. Replacing these hangers is pretty straight forward although it will take a little elbow grease to remove and install them because the hooks usually have little balls on the end of them to hold the hangers in place. A trick is to lube them up with dish soap or something of that nature to make removal and installation a little easier. The rubber hangers are universal and can be purchased at any auto parts store. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Thanks,
Alex
