I have a ticking sound coming from both driver and passenger sides in the exhaust manifold area. I would like to resolve the problem within a couple hours without taking trips to the part store, but also don’t want to buy more than is necessary. I assume at least a couple bolts have broken on the exhaust manifold, but am unsure of what all has to be replaced. I am comfortable replacing the bolts and gaskets as they are relatively affordable, but will I need to replace the manifolds as well? They are considerably more expensive and I would be happy to reuse the old ones if that is an option. Thank you!

Hello,

In the diagrams down below I have included Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) part numbers for the exhaust manifold and gaskets, a guide for the inspection, removal, and installation of both the left and the right exhaust manifolds. Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out, and how everything goes.

Thanks,
Alex
