What size is the socket for those bolts?

I'm not completely sure what you are asking. You need the socket itself or the dimensions of where the bulb sits? Also, is this a truck or suburban? Here are directions for replacement on the standard vehicles. If it is the Z71, it has a different design, so let me know if that is the case.

As far as the bulb, it takes a standard 880 bulb. I can tell you the overall length of the bulb is 1.25"

FOG LAMP REPLACEMENT - FRONT (EXCEPT Z71)
REMOVAL PROCEDURE

1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp.
2. Remove the push pin retainers that attach the fog lamp to the bracket.
3. Remove the fog lamp adjuster bolt and spring from the adjuster nut.
4. Remove the fog lamp from the fog lamp bracket.
5. Remove the fog lamp bracket bolts and bracket, as needed.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Install the fog lamp bracket bolts and bracket, as needed.

Tighten
Tighten the fog lamp bolt to 25 N.M (18 lb ft).

2. Install the fog lamp to the fog lamp bracket.
3. Install the fog lamp adjuster bolt and spring to the adjuster nut.
4. Install the push pin retainers that attach the fog lamp to the bracket.
5. Connect the electrical connector to the fog lamp
6. Inspect the fog lamp aiming.
