Erratic speedometer

Pulled gauge cluster. After putting back speedometer jumps through all speeds.

I have attached a testing and inspecting flow chart. Enlarge the attached image and let me know if it helps. Since you had it apart, something tells me either the cable is not fully seated or you have bent the cable causing it to jump around and not run smoothly.

Thanks guys. I believe I must have had a contact malfunction from jarring the cluster possibly the speedometers wiring. Plugs look fine no bent post, nothing looks bad in the female. If you hear of any way I could have messed up the electronics in gauge mechanism. Again thanks appreciate your time. Cactus Jack
