Engine cranks but will not start

The immobilizer light keeps blinking fast, the key won't open the doors automatically and the engine won't start though it is cranking. Please, I need help fast.

Hello,

In order to start the vehicle, you will have to reset the immobilizer.
To do that you will need to get the immobilizer code from your local Renault dealer.
They will need the VIN and proof of ownership to provide that information.

After getting the code follow these steps:

Turn the ignition to the on position.
Press and hold the central locking button and could the red flashes of the red LED.
Let go of the button after it flashes the same number of times as the first digit of the code.
Then repeat this process for the rest of the digits of the code, should be a total of four digits.
After the last digit entered the light should stay on.
Then it should allow you to start the vehicle.

I am base in Nigeria there isn't any local dealer in my city. How do I get the code for the immobilizer?

You will have to contact any Renault dealer and let them know that you will need the immobilizer code. Just do a search and find one that might be located in Nigeria. Typically, those codes are only available at the dealer.

We are not associated with Renault or any other car company, so unfortunately, we don't have the immobilizer information.

Take a look at the image below, it shows a few phones numbers for Renault stores. That might be helpful.
