Engine stalls out and dies after about 5 seconds. The vehicle was in an accident and in the body shop for about. Engine was running after the accident. While in the body shop, we installed a new intercooler system and radiator. After the installation, we started the vehicle momentary to make sure it would start. We only ran it for a few seconds because there wasn't any coolant in the radiator. We did have to jump the battery at that time. That was about a month ago. When we went to pick up the vehicle, the battery needed to be charged again. After that we noticed the problem we are now experiencing. No codes in the system. Any idea where to look first. We also installed a new blow-off valve when we replaced the intercooler.

Will it stay running if you hold the accelerator pedal down 1/4"? If so, the Engine Computer lost its memory when the battery went dead. It has to relearn "minimum throttle" before it will know when it needs to be in control of idle speed. To meet the conditions for the relearn to take place, drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals.
