I had oil pan gasket changed and oil cooling lines. The truck was running perfectly before the repairs. Drive it home, started it the next day and it's running ragged and missing. Had it hooked up to hand held computer and got codes that number one cylinder was miss firing so just to fix that I had that spark plug and wire replaced. After driving truck then parking it then start it back up it start missing but no codes from number one cylinder but now code says crank sensor. Changed that and still running ragged. Changed cap and rotor and still running ragged. Please someone figure this out. Three auto service places with "certificated" mechanics cannot figure this out and grasping at straws and draining my bank account. Thank you in advance.

Hello,

It sounds like to me that it could be one for two things, first a ground was left off during the first repair or by coincidence the spider injector is going bad which has common. Do not ask me why the injectors fail after a different repair that did not even tough it, they just do.

Please let us know what you find so it will help others.

Best, Ken
