Sudden engine chirping sound

All of the sudden a kind of chirping noise started coming from my engine and doesn't sound normal. I’m aware it could be the belt but am still not sure.

Good morning,

Yes, belts make a chirping noise.

Try spraying some water on the belt and see if the noise goes away. If it does, then the metal ribs are coming out of the belt and rubbing against the metal pulleys.
