I was on my way to work this morning probably going about fifty five mph in fourth and my engine light came on. I heard it could be the gas cap, but it is hard to tell because the cap was on when I checked. I also filled up last night I had about under half a tank and I used higher grade fuel 93 to fill it up. I am hoping I did not mess anything up. Thanks for your time.

Good morning.

There are over 2000 possible codes that can be set from the check engine light. The first step is to have the code read and identified. Then we can narrow the area of failure.

Yes, evap codes are the most common but not all the time. Does it still run good? Any changes in starting or driving?
