Check engine light keeps tuning on and off randomly. Seems to run great, no misfiring really. Not sure what is triggering it, but need to pass deq. Any ideas that do not involve spending $500.00 at a mechanic?

The first thing you need to do is go to a parts place and have them read the code for you. Once we know the code, we can help narrow the area of failure for you.
