Engine from automatic car to manual car?

I have found an engine from a automatic transmission car, and want to know if it can be directly fitted to my manual transmission? Current car is 2011 vw gti with 2.0t cbfa manual transmission, donor motor is 2010 vw eos with 2.0t cbfa automatic transmission.

Hi,

As far as the OEM part numbers for a manual for either vehicle, they are different. However, that could simply be due to a model year change.

Since both are 2.0t CBFA engines, the trans should bolt up for you. From that point, I don't have information as far as electronics.
