I have access to a 2009 Charger with a 5.7 hemi. Is this compatible? What would I need to make it work? If not, what else would work? Thank you.

Welcome to 2CarPros. The 09 Charger engine is different than the 06 5.7 in your truck and they are not interchangeable. If it was an 08 it could be made to work, but the 2009 was changed a lot. To find a replacement used engine you could try http://www.car-part.com/ Enter your location and info and it will show the salvage yards locally that have ones that would work.
