ETC light is flashing. Truck will turn over but will not fire off. I replace the throttle body and TPS sensor a month ago. I am wondering if my accelerator pedal sensor is the problem now. I did have a code come up for it when I had it checked. Just want to make sure that could possibly be the cause.

Yes, these sensors go out all the time here is the location of the sensor.

Caution: Do not attempt to separate or remove the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (APPS) from the accelerator pedal assembly. The APPS and the accelerator pedal is replaced as an assembly. If the sensor is removed from the pedal, the electronic calibration may be destroyed.

You may need to have the sensor initialized to the system which will cost about $130.00.

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Cheers, Ken
