I unplugged my economy mode, electronic parking brake, and auto brake feature from my center console in the process of taking my car apart today. I put everything back together. Now the electrical system is going crazy and my car wont even turn on. It is a 2016 Honda Civic EXT. The car was turned on after they were unplugged but not in the process of it. ECU reset didnt work. (Unplugged both cables to the battery, touched them together to kill the charge, and waited 30 min before reattaching them) also for some reason the brake is hard to push in. What should I do?

The brake will be hard to push with the engine not running you won't have power brakes. Why did you take it apart? Is the security light on solid or flashing with the key in the run position? The other computers probably picked up the missing not being able to talk to the cluster and could have locked the starting out.

Thought you unhooked the cluster my mistake. You could have set a code that keeps the car from starting by unhooking all that and turning the key on. Unhooking the battery isn't a good way to clear codes they still remain in memory. Also are you sure everything is plugged back in correctly.

I took apart the car trying to run some wires under the center console so they were hidden. I realized halfway taking it apart that it was more than I could handle so I decided to put everything back together. And yes the 3 things I unplugged are plugged in to their respective spots correctly. I did accidentally turn the car on while they were disconnected however, which it seems to have set the whole system into chaos. The push-to-start button will light up and some of the dash but thats it. The car wont start or change gears. At this point I am prepared to have it towed to a dealer to fix it. My only question would be what should I expect it to cost/what is the worst that could be wrong with it?

The honest answer I can give without looking at it is if all they have to do is scan it and clear the codes then a HR labor
