I’m trying to find out if I have a short in my electrical wiring somewhere. The AC would turn off/on like a light switch intermittently, even when no one touches the ac controls. Other things have stopped working suddenly then started back up also. I’m just trying to find out where I should start troubleshooting and how since I don’t know much about electrical wiring, etc. Thank you

I just saw the page that helps with repairs. I’ll look at that first and respond with any questions afterwards. Thank you so much.

Hi,

No problem whatsoever. When you respond, let me know what other electronics are doing the same. Also, if it was a short, it should cause a fuse to fail. As a result, the component wouldn't turn back on until the fuse was replaced. What you described sounds like a connection issue. That is why knowing the other components affected will help me narrow things down.

Let me know if I can help.

Take care,

Joe
