Hi, my can wants to stall and voltage drop whenever I turn on headlight and shuts off completely when I press the brake pads. When headlight is turned on alternator is charging at 13.90 volts and battery is new.

HI and thanks for using 2CarPros.com.

The voltage you mentioned sounds right on target, so I do not think the problem is electrical or at least not the alternator.

What I think may be happening is the brake booster is bad and when you apply the brakes, it drops the engine vacuum causing the engine to stall.

I first want to check if there is a vacuum leak issue. Here is a link which describes how to check engine vacuum. Do this and let me know what you find.
