Started the vehicle and the dome light wouldn't go off. The doors were all shut as was the back gate and window. Shut it off and still the light wouldn't go off. Also noticed that the driver door window controls, mirror adjust and door locks and the seat adjustment memory buttons stopped working. Checked and found the passenger side window button was also not working, however, the lock button on passenger side did work and the sunroof also still worked! Also it was showing that the driver side door was open so I checked all doors and made sure that all were closed but it still said the door was open! Had to shut the instrument panel lights all the way off in order to get the dome light to shut off just so the battery wouldn't be drained by morning! It was really super cold outside (approximately -25º-30º below 0º) when the problem started so I don't know if maybe a wire between the door and frame cracked maybe or if it is something else? Please help me figure this out! Also it keeps showing the brake light on, but it isn't! Any suggestions what might be the problem?
Also was wondering what the best way to go about taking off that rubber boot between door and frame would be?

Hello,

This is probably going to be a problem with your vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM). In the diagrams down below I have included the description, location, comprehensive Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) troubleshooting, and step by step removal and installation instructions for your vehicle's BCM. Please go through the information and get back to us with what you are able to find out, please.

Thanks,
Alex
