On ignition position 1 and then 2 all lights on dash work radio as well, but when I turn the key to start all electricity goes out completely no noise to it. Key gets stuck needs to be jumped after.

The most likely cause of this is the ignition switch. The way we need to test for this is to measure voltage coming out of the switch when you turn the start position. I suspect you will have 0 volts. What happens is when you get 0 volts it basically "confuses" the ignition lock solenoid and it locks.

I attached the wiring diagrams for you to test these circuits but let me know what the voltage is coming out of the ignition switch when you are cranking and we can go from there. Thanks
