EFI and ECU-B fuses blowing on battery connect. ECU-IG and IGN fuses blowing when key is turned to on position. Car will crank but not start. If I remove EFI fuse ECU-B fuse does not blow. If I remove ECU-IG fuse IGN fuse does not blow. Need help narrowing down where a short might be happening.

Heather,

You must have a dead short. Does the EFI fuse not blow if you remove any of the other fuses? If not, inspect the injector wires first. If there is nothing obviously wrong, disconnect all of them to see if the same thing happens (the EFI fuse blows). If it still does, then we will need to trace the wiring at the fuel pump next and do the same thing†disconnect it to see if it still blows a fuse.

If there is something you can disconnect that prevents the EFI fuse from failing, let us know.

Take care and let us know how things are going.

Joe
