When you say ECU, I suspect you are talking about the ECM, engine control module.

Please see the attached process on how to replace it and the location. Please let us know if you have other questions. Thanks

Thank you KASEKENNY1! This was a huge help but actually upon running the vin we learned the car in question is a 2007 Honda Accord. Do the attached images also work for a 2007 Honda Accord?

Thank you!
As a matter of fact I do. For the same 2007 Honda accord where on the ECM is the chip located to bypass the immobilizer? Or if you know exactly how to bypass the immobilizer on a 2007 Honda accord? Different forums mention you either remove chip on ECM or you have to do something with the main relay so I would like to know in your opinion what is the correct and efficient method to bypass the immobilizer? Also if you could tell me where the location of the main relay is?

I know that others have done this but I have never actually removed the chip or altered the PCM myself to know which years that works on. So your vehicle may or may not be one that this works.

What I have done is basically get a replacement PCM that comes with this system deleted from it already.

From what I researched this year is not able to do this but I am not positive about this. I would look for a PCM that has the system deleted.

Thank you that information is still helpful nonetheless.
Now there seems to be a part missing that's near the engine. Someone told me to lookup the location of the temperature sensor to see of that might be it. Can you show me the location of the temperature sensor for the 2007 Honda Accord?

I am not sure which temperature sensor you are referring to, so here are the ambient temperature and engine cooling temperature locations.

Please let us know if you need something else. Thanks
