My ECM keeps shorting. Opening it up, I found that the capacitor at slot D2 on the green circuit board is shorted. I would like to know how I can figure out what shorted wire, etc. Is causing this?

The only components in the computer that I am aware of that can be damaged by external components are the Quad drivers that are responsible for controlling external actuators.

How do you think this can be happening? It has happened to both or the replacement ecm's, but the oe computer has completely different symptoms, and never does what these two do.
