Have a 1995 Eagle Talon all power automatic transmission 2.0 engine. Deal is it just stopped starting
Pulled it up int the yard shut it off and now nothing but a slight click that sounds like it is emmiting from behind the radio. All lights on instrument panel still light up. This occurred once befor and had it towed to a shop and repaired but not sure what the shyster did and charged $600.00 and 3 months later the same trouble any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated (by a donation) Thanks in advance

I have a few things it could be so here it goes. The starter pinion or flywheel teeth are worn out or broken, Bad ignition switch, Broken or loose or disconnected wiring in the starting circuit, Bad starter motor, Bad starter solenoid or the starter motor pinion is jammed into the flywheel ring gear. I know its alot to check and its not very specific but thats what I have for you. I hope it helps you out even a little bit. By the way I was having the same problem two years ago and it was because I have a wire in the starter circuit that some how disconnected its self, and to me that is what sounds most likely for your problem because you are hearing noises behind the radio. But I hope I helped and let me know how it goes and if you have anymore questions

Check your starter wires first always check easy stuff first. That way when you find the problem you have not done alot of hard troubleshooting and found the problem was nothing more than a loose wire.
