I just bought a 95 eagle talon front wheel drive turbo charged and I notice after a few days that the coolant is leaking from the drivers side by all the belts. Im not sure if the water pump needs to be replaced or if its just the seal? When I drove to work today which is about a 20 minute drive it started over heating I dont want to buy a new water pump if I dont need one but how can I tell if its just the seal or the water pump?

If I'm going through the trouble of pulling the water pump off to replace the gasket, I would put a new pump on.

You need to get in close with good lighting and dental mirrors to see where it is coming from. Maybe it is a hose.
