Drove over a Traffic Cone

Drove over an orange traffic cone. Got stuck on bottom. Was able to remove it
after driving one block. It was squashed. Car drove normally afterwards. What is on the underside of car for protection? Should I be concerned?

sometimes there are shields some of metal most of plastic, unless none are hanging down do not worry about it the cones are soft.
