I do a lot of long distance traveling in my car. When I let the clutch out and push throttle in engine revs 3,000 to 5,500 rpm's before it starts moving. Even with clutch all the way out. Clutch pedal feels exactly the same it always has felt. Nice and firm. It does the same for shifting through the gears. And the same for reverse. This is my daily and I cannot afford to lose it. Every now and then it will take off like brand new. But not often. Please help.

Hi,

Take a look at this guide and take a look at number 3. Your clutch is on its way out and will require service.

Then take a look at the second guide on all that needs to be replaced when you go in because you don't want to go back in by not replacing something.

Let me know what else you need and I will be happy to assist.
