Good afternoon,

Do you mean the ones in the center support or the ones in the universal joint?

Okay, got it.

Is this the joint you are talking about? If it is, why did you remove the boot?

In the picture I sent you, there are bolts you remove for removing the shaft. They are marked number 3 in the diagram. That will separate the joint without removing the boot.

Somebody must have pulled very hard to release that boot.

Okay, there is no service procedure for this constant velocity joint.

Replace the propeller shaft half if any of the following occur:

Important: The constant velocity (CV) joint assembly is not serviceable. If the dust boot is torn or the joint is worn or damaged, replace the propeller shaft as an assembly.

Inspect the constant velocity (CV) joint boot for rips or cracks.
Rotate the constant velocity (CV) joint to inspect for binding.
Inspect the constant velocity (CV) joint for grease or oil leakage.

Use a small hammer. That piece will split in half. You may need a screwdriver to help split the joint. It does not come out of the transmission, it splits past the where the bolts were.
