Both the high and low beam lights on the driver's side quit working with no warning. What causes that?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues with your car. Let's see if we can help you out.

When an entire light assembly containing multiple circuits is out it is usually a ground issue. However, both the Drivers side and Passengers side share the same ground location but use a different wire for each assembly.

For now, I would pull apart the connector for the passenger side headlight assembly and see if there are any signs of corrosion or any damage to the connectors metal surface.

Now, you may be able to follow this wire down to the actual grounding location. My information only tells me that it is on the “right front of the vehicle” so you will have to follow the black wire from the headlight connector down until you feel where it is connected to the body or possibly the subframe.

If you find corrosion, here is a video that will help with replacing the connector:

I have attached some wiring diagrams for your reference.

Let me know what you find.

Regards,
Brendon
