My car drivers side will not open from the inside anymore, but it opens fine from the outside handle. Instead of taking off the door panel it is possible that I only have to take off the inside door handle to see if it is just disconnected or broken? Please let me know okay? Thanks, Tom

Here are the instructions on how to fix the inside door handle:

1. Remove trim. Move glass to up position.
2. Remove the watershield as necessary.
3. Disconnect two links at latch.
4. Remove the three inside handle screws.
5. Remove inside handle assembly with links attached.
6. Transfer links to new inside handle.
7. Reverse this procedure to install.

Ken, thanks. But the video is not for a 1991 Plymouth Acclaim, can you direct me to the exact model? I don't have electric windows but do have the speaker on the door panel. I was hoping I could just take out the handle and replace it. Is that possible to do? Thanks

Ken,

Sorry took so long to get back, was away. I will try and send you pictures of the car door panel and inside handle next week. It is very cold here now and there is no heat in the garage, but I should still be able to snap a few pictures. Until then, Thanks
