Hi,

If the handles don't work then your only option is to pull the door panel from the inside. You may have to break it or worse yet, cut a section of it out in order to access the latch to pop it open. Clearly this is not the most desirable option but I am not aware of any other way to move the latch with out access it.

I have door panel off on the inside. And all rods are connected and everything. But cannot make it open. Was hoping someone might know a way to get it open once I could get to the mechanism.

That is great. If you are not sure which rod is to move in which direction, pull the other side off and compare it. Once you know which way the rod pulls the latch to open it, soak the mechanism over night with a penetrating lubricant. Then start manipulating the latch and put your shoulder into it to give it a good jolt. Unfortunately there is no special trick for a frozen latch. If everything is connected but the latch just will not move then you are going to have to persuade it. However, just make sure you are putting pressure on the latch so that when you start to break it loose it will open. If you are not, then you will just be pressing against the closed latch and that will not change anything. Sorry I don't have a magic wand on this one but these are not easy.
