I have the vehicle listed above with dual heat controls. When the heat is on the driver side blows out cold air and the passenger side hot air. All vents are fully functioning. The coolant level is topped off, the thermostat is new and I just replaced the blend door actuator on the drivers side and the problem still persist. Every once and a while for a few seconds the heat will blow from the drivers side. Any help to diagnosis the problem will be appreciated.

Hi,

If it works at times, that seems like something is allowing the door to move. When you installed the new actuator, are you sure it seated properly? There is a flat spot on the gear that only will fit one way. See pic 1.

Let me know. Also, you may need to remove it and see if it functions when it's not installed.

Let me know. Also, let me know if it is manual or automatic climate control.

Take care and God Bless,

Joe
