Doors won't unlock using a key. Same for the t-tops and hatch. Remote entry works just fine.

Purchased the car from a dealer on line. The ignition key works fine but the other key for the doors etc will not unlock anything. The dealer made a new key using the VIN number. Still no work. Also the labels that were on the driver side door are missing the info with the VIN # also gone. One more question: Where are the VIN numbers located on this model besides the dash?

Chances are the doors were replaced and the lock / tumblers weren't switched. Thus, you have locks on the doors that are from a different car.

As far as the vin, it should be on the door pillar, driver's side.
