Backdoor will not open when unlocked

The Backdoor will not open, when unlocked. Will not open from the outside or inside. How can I fix this? What parts would I need?

We do not have pictures of that, but you will have to remove the panel from inside and see if a clip is broken or latch. Normally it is a clip which is available at auto parts stores.
