Hi,

Chances are it is one of the door latch assemblies that is causing the issue. Each door latch has an internal switch that turns the dome lights on. See pic 1

What you need to do is disconnect each of these, one at a time, to see if there is one that turns the light off. I would use the doors most often used, the driver's and passenger's side doors.

I attached the directions for removing the trim panel on the front doors. Do this and then disconnect the door latch assembly's power supply. If the switch is bad, this opens the circuit, and the light will turn off.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

The driver door switch is bad. Is the switch part of the door latch itself? If so, what are the steps to remove and replace that part?

Hi,

Unfortunately, it is part of the latch assembly, and the latch is a little bit of a pain to remove.

If you look below, I attached the directions for the removal and replacement of the door latch assembly. Take a look through them and let me know if you have questions.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

Joe
